Who is Andrew Tan?
I want to spend the rest of my life working for causes I believe in. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Journalism in May. I have spent the last three years in Gainesville working at various papers in town and I want to apply the skills I learned to helping nonprofit organizations. I've worked on a local arts & entertainment magazine, The Satellite and High Springs Herald, voted the best weekly newspaper in Florida by the Florida Press Association. In addition to working at monthly and weekly publications, I have worked on a daily deadline at the largest student-run newspaper in the country, The Independent Florida Alligator and The Gainesville Sun, a New York Times Regional Newspaper.
